A SUNY Oneonta partner¬ship with NASA and Amphenol Aerospace led to an out-of-this world experience for students in local public school districts last year. Our campus hosted more than 800 students for an event featuring a NASA downlink from the International Space Station as it orbited the Earth. Several students even had the opportunity to ask astronaut and SUNY Oneonta alumnus Colonel Ron Garan, ’82, questions about living and working in space.
