About me

I am an award-winning video producer with 15 years of experience in broadcast television and higher education marketing. Â I currently serve as the Digital Outreach Specialist in the Office of Communications at SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica, NY. Â I have previously held the positions of Digital Media Producer in the Office of Communication & Marketing at SUNY Oneonta. I have also been an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Communication & Media at SUNY Oneonta, where I taught introductory and advanced level production classes. Â As an employee for Mountain Lake PBS in Plattsburgh, New York, I gained insight into what makes an interesting story and had active roles in many regional and national productions for the station. Â My news documentary “Mission of Hope: A North Country Helping Hand” was supported by a Social Entrepreneurship grant from “Frontline/World” in 2008 and was awarded a regional Edward R. Murrow Award in 2009 from the RTDNA.
